I'm so sorry that the blog has struggled so much this year - when I found it in October I was incredibly entertained and read almost everything in silly hopes it'd give you some traffic there - your writing is genuinely legendary and I hope everything goes well for you this year!

I used to receive notifications when there was a new post and I always read them, but I don't get any any more. There don't seem to be option to subscribe to the blog, it's just taking me to substack when I'm trying to do that. It's a shame because whenever I remember to visit I find a few new posts and then I often don't have time to catch up on all.
There isn’t any way to subscribe to the blog at the moment unfortunately — we had to pay for that and the site isn’t making enough to cover if any more unfortunately, so I had to switch to Substack, which is free… Most of what I publish on the blog is cross-posted over here, but I’ll try to remember to link any posts that aren’t!

As for the blog, if everyone is as dumb as I am, they probably think it has been replaced by this website. Perhaps, in an effort to enlighten us bunch of idiots, you could put a very visible link to it in this homepage and mention that there is further content to read? (yeepee!)

Have you ever thought about writing an autobiography? Or the biography of a historical figure you know well?
To be honest, it pretty much *has* been replaced by this website, so I don't think there'd be much point in trying to send people to it when there's no additional content for them to read there! I did actually have a go at writing an autobiography a while back, but I don't think I'm interesting enough for people to want to read it, and I've no interest in writing non-fiction, so I'll probably stick to the fiction books for now - You Tube is definitely something I want to explore, though: I've heard quite a few people say that it's the best bet at the moment, so I'll definitely be looking into that some more!
Oh my - I always laugh out loud with all your posts, but somehow it also seems so inappropriate, Amber!! Much of this could have been written by myself - my financial situation is dire too as you know - but you are my inspiration for becoming an author/writer myself so I am SO thankful to you to know that it can be done (and well done you, your books are SO much fun and absolutely brilliant).
But if none of it works out for either of us, I'd be happy to join you in the Victorian workhouse: we can tell each other romcom stories and reminisce about the good old days of blogging, LOL...! 😂
