Amber, I am so sorry about your eye!! I hope it's all ckearwd up before the wedding. I have been having an allergic reaction to something (my doctor has done LOTS of testing and we don't know what I'm allergic to) whereby the left side of my face below my eye and the right side of my neck itches, turns red, and swells up. It happens a day or two before we travel somewhere. I look like two face from Batman.
Oh no! How strange that it’s just the one side! And why do these things always have to happen right before something important?! Keeping everything crossed your doctor manages to figure it out soon!
The one I have is only to be used until it clears up and it seems to have done the trick, so I’m hoping I won’t need anything else — will definitely ask about that if it comes back, though!
But they're all friends and family (except for the school reunion, which you can probably skip), and they will be so overjoyed to see you that nobody will care.
I actually won't know anyone at the wedding except the bride and groom (and the bride's mum, who I haven't seen for about 20 years..) so that's a little bit daunting 🙈 There's no school reunion, though, thankfully - I don't think I could cope with one of those even if I could wear makeup!
Why does it always happen to you, Amber? I love that you can turn even the worst situations into very entertaining writing but I'm so sorry this has happened! I am writing this with half of my lip swollen (sorry, just remembered no medical talk, I promise it's a very mild thing) so I do relate in some way! Best of luck with everything!

This is perfect.

Doxycycline works for my husband’s Blepharitis. It’s a very low dosage but you need to keep taking it. He never relapsed.

I read a paragraph almost at the end of this post and all I could think of was to retitle it " The Doctor Asked Me To Be Urgly".
Hope you are getting better. I enjoyed reading another entry from you as always. Sending my well wishes - get well soon ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! 💗
Oh poor Amber ☹

As the Kiwis say, "she'll be all right". 😉

It's a question I've asked myself many times! Hope the swollen lip isn't too painful and goes away soon!
It's mostly just a mild annoyance but thank you!
