My equivalent of endorphins is a mix of “thank god that’s over” and “yay I can feel extra smug all day and enjoy looking at my Apple Watch and my completed three rings”. Is there more to it than that? Also this is likely too late but the couch to 5k NHS app is great for getting into running but not feel like you’re getting into running and trick the old brain a bit more x
