I hadn’t heard about the boycott either but appreciate hearing about it from an author’s perspective. Also, I really enjoy your diary-style posts, so would love you to write a book in that style. Not sure if Bridget Jones has effectively cornered that genre but I think you could advance the concept!
Ah, that made me laugh, Amber. I always relate and it makes me smile to know I’m not alone in my quirks. I never knew about the Amazon boycott! I’m a rebel and just bought the third Red Rising 🙊
You are so funny! You have a way of being riveting while worrying about anything!
Have you ever considered writing a Screenplay about yourself? It could start with…(visual) A very beautiful Scottish girl like you wearing something with style,(not you of course because that would freak you out)…running in the rain, red hair flying, worrying about basically everything, in your own words and voice. It would be very relatable and would maybe help people feel better because they’re not alone.
I will definitely be doing that too - I'm in the process of getting new covers for all of the books in that series, so it'll happen once I have that sorted!
The urge to buy more books is paramount... I understand why boycotts are happening but I would so much rather support individuals and their livelihood, like you and I'm so sorry it's impacting your mental health so much. Best of luck Amber!
I relate to the nice walk thing! Gorgeous walk today, other days it's just a fight against the wind. Also, when you go for a walk and spend the whole time worrying about the things the walk was meant to take your mind off. That, I find, tends to make me feel worse. Sunny, non worried walks are the best 😅
Thanks, Helen! And I'm actually really glad you hadn't heard about it - I'm hoping it's not as widely supported as my social media bubble is leading me to believe!
Hi there Amber! Here's the thing, I am French and live in Germany and absolutely love your books! I recommended them to a French colleague of mine who is also hooked :) and I bought most of your books from Amazon as paperback. Now I just got a reader (not a kindle) and I can't seem to find a place where I can buy your ebooks unless it's through Amazon... And I won't buy on Amazon. It would be great indeed if you could tell me where I could buy the e version of "The Actress Unscripted" for instance. It's one of the last two I haven't yet read.. :) thanks! Alex

I actually love the idea of doing that - I've always loved diary-style books!
I hope you find THE idea you are after, because I love your writing xx
Thank you 💗

Ha, gotta love a rebel! 💗

You are so kind 💗 Screenwriting isn't part of my skillset, unfortunately, but I'm incredibly flattered by the idea!
I would love you to write the sequel of your third Heather Bay book!

Thank you so much for the support, I so appreciate it 💗

Yes! This is also one of the reasons I hate yoga - it just gives me extra time to worry about things!
I had no idea there was an Amazon boycott! I really hope sales keep coming in for you. x

I honestly don’t think it is. I’m normally all over things like that - but I’m not on threads x
A hard won ‘C’.
I didn’t hate you. 😉
And I've forgotten everything I ever knew about it, too 😆
Of course you're not included in any talk of 'the hating'!

Hi! As I said in the post, my books are only available on Amazon, so if you're boycotting, you won't be able to read them, unfortunately...
